Completion Campaign

Enhancing our home of prayer

Completion of our parish home: In 2011, St. Joseph Church began a capital campaign to complete and update the church facility.  As you may know, we are not subsidized by our local diocese, so we must depend on weekly Mass collections, fundraisers and financial support from you, our friends.

At the time of initial construction, there were insufficient funds to complete the arched dome ceiling and interior columns.  Today, the pastor and parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church have chosen to honor their ancestors by completing what they began.  With the attention to detail and craftsmanship of A. Hays Town’s original design, the Church community has come together to finish their parish home.

The parish of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is not simply a building, but a community of faith dedicated to fostering and nurturing the presence of Jesus Christ among us.  This mission to serve is carried out through active ministry, joining together for worship, service, stewardship, Christian formation, and various forms of pastoral care and outreach.

We hope that you will be renewed and revived with the spirit of giving.  While many of us would not live in incomplete homes, for over 50 years we have worshiped in an incomplete Church.

Enhancements completed include:  Constructing an arch ceiling with conventional methods of construction, finish interior columns, restore pews and flooring to their original beauty, replace central air conditioning and lighting system, return side entrances to original design.

We are still in need of donations to pay down the debt.  We thank you for your consideration of gifting your time, talent and treasure to the future of St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish.
